Pink Lake - Loumpol Desert
DAY 1: DAKAR - LAC ROSE - LOMPOUL (Approximately 168km / 03h)
Departure from Dakar in the morning to reach Lac Rose. Tour of the lake, visit to a Fulani village and meeting with the salt collectors. Unmissable swim in the salt lake and unforgettable feeling. Above all, don't forget to rinse with fresh water!
Lunch by the lake then drive to the Lompoul desert.
Arrival at the village of Loumpoul, transfer by 4×4 through the dunes to reach the camp. After a warm welcome, you can enjoy the wonderful spectacle of the sunset. Dinner and evening under the stars...sometimes shooting! Night in a Mauritanian tent at the Loumpoul Ecolodge.
DAY 2: LOMPOUL - DAKAR (Approximately 180km / 03h30)
Breakfast at your own pace. Morning ride on camel or on foot on the dunes. Possibility of surfing on the dunes. Lunch in Loumpoul. You will enjoy the calm and serenity of the place before returning to Dakar.
