Ziguinchor Casamance

Day 1: ZIGUINCHOR - DJIBELOR - OUSSOUYE (Approximately 40km / 45mn)
Welcome at the port or airport, visit the Djibelor crocodile farm, a park of more than 30 hectares with a variety of fruit trees and ornamental flowers. Lunch at the Emanaye d’Oussouye camp. Then in the afternoon, visit the town of Oussouye; capital of Lower Casamance, the potters of the village of Edioungou, the local fruit processing workshop in Oussouye.


Visit of the King of Osouye according to his availability. Dinner and night at Camp Emanaye in Oussouye.

DAY 2: OUSSOUYE - MLOMP - KARABANE (Approximately 20 km / 25mn-30mn by canoe)
Road to the village of Mlomp, for a visit to its multi-storey huts, the Diola culture museum and its giant cheese factory, then continuation to the port of Elinkine to board the canoe which will take us to the Karabane Island. Lunch then visit the island which was the first French colonial counter in Casamance. Dinner and night at the Karabane hotel.

DAY 3: KARABANE - KACHOUANE - KARABANE (Approximately 40 minutes by canoe / journey)
Day trip to the village of Kachouane located a few km from the mouth of the Casamance River. Visit the village, lunch at Camp Sounka with a magnificent view of a bolong leading to the mouth of the Casamance River. Return to Karabane at the end of the day.

Dinner and night at the Karabane hotel.

DAY 4: KARABANE - CAP SKIRING (Approximately 30 minutes by canoe. 50 km / 1 hour)
We will take the canoe back to the fishing village of Elinine, then we will head to the seaside resort of Cap Skiring located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Senegal.

Installation at the hibiscus hotel. Lunch then relax at Cap Skiring on a magnificent beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. Dinner and overnight at the Hibiscus Hotel.

DAY 5: CAP SKIRING - DJIMBERING - ZIGUINCHOR (Approximately 100km / 1h40)
In the morning visit the traditional village of Djimbering, with its giant cheese makers, its deserted beach known for its annual rice field festival. Return to Cap Skiring at lunchtime then drive to Ziguinchor for a city tour, visit to the tropical garden of the French cultural center and the Saint Maure market. Dinner and night at the Kadiandoumange hotel.

DAY 6: ZIGUINCHOR / PORT or ZIGUINCHOR / AIRPORT
Transfer to the airport or port to finally board the flight or boat to reach Dakar.
